What a whirlwind it's been, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to share some blooming good news from our little slice of flower heaven here at Evolve Flowers! Recently, we had the absolute joy of taking part in the Heckington Show, and oh my goodness, what an adventure! Not only did we come home with the prestigious Best in Show Trophy for the Horticulture category, but we also created something that's caused quite a stir: eco-friendly floral ice creams! Yes, you heard that right—flower arrangements that look as delicious as they are sustainable.
Hamuda (my ever-supportive partner) and I were both over the moon when we saw people's faces light up as they came across our stand. There’s nothing quite like seeing your wild ideas come to life in such a vibrant way. The floral ice creams were a hit! It started as one of those whimsical ideas that pop into your head when you're surrounded by petals and stems for too long, and somehow it all came together to create something that not only brought joy but showed just how beautiful eco-conscious floristry can be.
At Evolve, we're all about pushing the envelope—whether that’s by using the FloraGuppy for sustainable flower arranging or showcasing the incredible Oshun Pouch, a regenerative floral medium. It’s part of our mission to create beautiful designs without costing the earth, and I’m so proud to be able to share those techniques with all of you. During the show, we even had a hands-on demonstration where visitors had the chance to get creative themselves, crafting their own floral ice creams out of reused ribbons. It was such a delight to see everyone’s creativity shine through! 🌿🍦
